Emergency Stop
Use Platform Controls Immediately
If you want automation to stop, use the platform controls immediately to pause or disable strategies, disconnect automation, revoke broker connectivity where available, or change parameters so that no further order instructions are generated. Features and timing may vary by product area and broker integration.
Contact and Control Your Broker Directly
If immediate protection is required, you must also use your broker's own controls. Depending on the situation, that may include canceling open orders, closing positions, liquidating holdings, disabling trading permissions, changing credentials, contacting the broker's support team, or using any emergency or risk controls offered by the broker. Your broker, not AutoTradix, has final control over your brokerage account and live orders.
No Guarantee of Immediate Cancellation
Orders that were already generated, transmitted, routed, or accepted before an emergency stop may still be executed, partially filled, or remain active at your broker. AutoTradix does not guarantee immediate cancellation, reversal, or prevention of execution, especially during periods of latency, outages, volatility, or third-party system disruption.
Your Continuing Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for monitoring your account, open orders, filled orders, positions, margin status, and risk exposure before, during, and after any emergency stop action. If you suspect unauthorized access or a compromised account, change credentials and notify your broker promptly.
